5th Annual Rush-Henrietta vs. Fairport Faculty Basketball Game
Thursday, February 11 at 7 p.m.
Sponsored by the Rush-Henrietta and Fairport Student Councils, the game matches up Fairport High School faculty with Rush-Henrietta High School faculty to have fun and raise money for Pluta Cancer Center. This year's game takes place at Fairport High School. Tickets are $5, and available at Pluta Cancer Center, and the Fairport and Rush-Henrietta High School main offices.
Last year’s event raised $3,500, helping Pluta Cancer Center update its phone system that has enhanced customer care. Two years ago, proceeds from the game allowed Pluta to purchase an exam room table. Fairport teachers won 69-66 in overtime last year to even the all-time series at two games apiece.
